Where does my data actually live?
On your iPhone. Titles, text snapshots, highlights, notes and tags live in Savario's local database, plus your encrypted iCloud backup if you enable it. There is no Savario server that stores your content.
What happens if the original page disappears?
Nothing bad. Every save keeps a full-text snapshot on your device, so the page stays readable — with your highlights and notes — even after the original is deleted, paywalled, or taken down.
Why can't some saves show their full text?
Because the platform doesn't let any app read it — login walls (like Instagram or Reddit) and anti-scraping pages block extraction. When that happens, Savario keeps everything the platform allows — title, cover, description — says so plainly instead of showing a blank page, and keeps the original one tap away in the built-in web view. It also retries quietly in the background, and the save stays fully searchable and exportable either way.
Do I need an account?
No. No sign-up, no email, no password. Download the app and your library starts on the first save.
Does it work offline?
Yes — completely. Browsing, searching and reading all work without a connection. Saving a link only needs the page's text at share time.
Does Savario use AI?
Only the on-device kind. Classification, tag suggestions and semantic search run locally on Apple silicon. Your content is never uploaded, never analyzed by a server, and never used to train anything.
What's the catch with lifetime pricing?
